November’s Providence Drupal Meetup will be Wednesday, November 12th at 6:00pm at Founders’ League (95 Chestnut St, one floor up from Betaspring, Providence, RI).  Parking is free on and off street (starts at 5 pm).

Have you, or has your company, been toying with the idea of creating your own base theme? John Cionci (@johncionci) and Kathy Beck (@kbeck303), front-end pros and Drupal developers at Oomph, will discuss why their company chose to take the leap, and the tools and tips that will help you in the journey. Maybe you’re wondering:

  • Should I use a framework, like Foundation?
  • To Sass, or not to Sass?
  • Should I just use Zen, Omega, or another existing base theme?

Don’t worry; they will answer those questions, and your other base theme quandaries.

Doors open at 6 pm; we ask that you try to arrive by 6:30 pm for networking/mentoring. The program starts promptly at 7 pm. The program includes introductions, some quick presentations, and a chance to pick the brains of your fellow attendees.

Please RSVP  on our DrupalPVD page!
